Logitech Tap Scheduler 2

A 10.1-inch panel for the outside of a meeting room that shows room status at a glance and lets people find, view and book spaces.

Quick answer

Tap Scheduler 2 is Logitech's room scheduling panel. It has a 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200 touchscreen with LED status lighting, mounts on glass, drywall or a mullion, and runs on a single PoE cable (IEEE 802.3af). It works with scheduling platforms including Microsoft Teams panels, Zoom Rooms scheduling displays, Robin, Appspace and Logitech Room Booking. AV8 installs and supports it in San Francisco.

What it is

Tap Scheduler 2 goes outside the room. LED lighting shows whether the room is free, and the touchscreen wakes as someone approaches so they can see meeting details or book the space on the spot. It is a different device from a table controller such as the Logitech Tap IP 2, which sits inside the room and starts the meeting.

Key capabilities

  • Status at a glance: highly visible LED lights plus a 10.1-inch IPS touchscreen, 1920 x 1200, 380 nits, 10-point capacitive touch.
  • Mounting: glass, drywall and mullion mounts are included; an angle mount for lower or angled viewing is optional and sold separately.
  • One cable: PoE with horizontal, vertical or center cable exits.
  • Platforms: Microsoft Teams panel, Zoom Rooms scheduling display, Robin, Appspace and Logitech Room Booking.
  • Non-video rooms: pair it with Logitech Spot presence detection to see when spaces are in use and auto-release unused bookings. Insights and auto-book and release require a service plan license.
  • Management: Logitech Sync, Microsoft Teams Admin Center or Zoom device management, depending on platform.

Planning notes

Decide which scheduling platform your company uses before choosing the panel, because that decides the software and how it is managed. Each panel needs a PoE network port beside the door, so cabling to that wall or mullion is part of the project. See our scoping guide for the other factors.
